Free Apps (Fridays only), a recipe, and some pictures.

FREE kids APPS on FRIDAYS!!!!!
Just go here every Friday: http://momswithapps.com/
They are usually newish ones, and I guess the owners (owners? are apps owned?) just want more publicity for the apps so they will go higher up in the rankings. There are usually 2 or 3 that are completely free and 2 that are discounted. They are actually real apps and not just sneak-peeks that you have to later spend money on to complete the app. It seems that some of them are only for iProducts, but most are for all Smart Things.

I have been REALLY pleased with the ones I have gotten free so far. Lily gets so excited: "Oh, thank you for my new game, Mama! You got Lily a new game? I LOVVVVEEEEE it!" as soon as she sees new ones.

Amanda, because she loves us and is probably concerned for the general welfare of Lily when it comes to what she is eating for dinner with me as her Mom, sends Melissa and me (you guys, it IS "me" and not "I"...you wouldn't say "She sends I"...that is how you check it) recipes each week. She is like my personal e-mealz but with much better recipes. She even tells us the other sides she is doing, so I can make them, too. It is kinda fun to think that maybe Melissa and Amanda and I are all eating the same meal for dinner- in 3 different states!

This was one from last week. It is AMAZING. SO EASY. The pork chops are just THREE INGREDIENTS. Seriously, save this one.
*I used 2 cans of soup and 2 packets of Ranch dressing for the pork chops.
*Crock Pots, like all cooking products, ingredients, utensils, etc..., cower in terror whenever I am near them and just stop working correctly in protest of my lack of cooking skills, SO...things ALWAYS burn. I only cooked it for 4 hours, and it worked great. Plus, when I worked, I got so angry when people suggested I use a crock pot to cook. When you are gone for 10 or 11 hours every day, a crock pot is NOT the answer. I did see a suggestion that someone mentioned using a lamp timer if your crock pot doesn't have a timer?
*In order to make the mashed potatoes easier, I did not roast the garlic (what?!?! Garlic powder worked fine).

My sister and I apparently have old-person neck. It has bothered us for a few years, this disease which is like the WORST crick in your neck imaginable. Mom bought us these awesome microwaveable heat wrap things a few years ago, and it is the closest thing I have to a fashion statement piece. I wear it a lot. Love you, Mom!!!

She goes to school for like 6 hours a week and does like it once she is there. But, EVERY morning on school days, she is anxious and nervous and sad and mad.

LOVE the park by our house.

Always twisting. Always. But...NO hairballs recently!!!! YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!

  2. The food looks great. (Amanda, you could start a cooking blog...you cook great). I am glad you like your neck pillow, but hate it when you have to wear it. I know then you are in pain. Yay for no hairballs.

  4. Yay free apps and no hairballs!! It's so funny you posted this recipe, my friend just told me about it and I totally thought of you and Melissa! I had planned on making it this week! Glad to hear another good review of it. I agree with your mom - make amanda start a cooking blog! I am always searching for new recipes to try!! I am still bummed about missing the reunion, glad y'all had a good time. I asked Emily what she is doing for her nursery decor but haven't heard back. Since you are the Godmother (!!) do you know what bedding she is using? I was thinking about making her a little something for Stella's room.
