We went to Huntsville at the beginning of January to celebrate Christmas with more grandparents!
Lily definitely got into the giving spirit and she made and wrapped all sorts of...special... presents this year. It was fun watching her put love into all of these little sticker designs. And, then, at several points during the drive, she needed reassurance that all of her goodies made it into the car: "Mama, did you get my box?"
Granddaddy loves this girl!
Lily wants to "help" constantly. Incessantly. Every time you turn around. Obviously, this means a million messes and a simple process like getting ice taking 20 minutes. Mama Gen was extra patient with her, though!

They got me a Ninja blender, and it has these awesome single cups that you use to make AND drink the smoothie. We tried it out the first morning we were home!

while Lily has to help with everything, Jacob wants me to "come look" at everything. earlier tonight he was playing Minecraft, which is a game where you build stuff, kind of like legos. While I was "helping" put together a lego set he was having trouble with, I kept getting, "Mama, look! I build a garbage can!" "Mama look! I build a house!" Yes, yes, fantastic son...
